Explore and connect with the ancient yogic method of the Ashtanga Primary Series.

Join Ashtanga trained teacher, Jade across two weekends as she takes you on an explorative journey of the purifying and energising Primary Series.

Ever felt put off or intimidated by the words Ashtanga (LED) on the timetable?

Maybe you love that sunrise timeslot but you never book because umm what the hell is it? and how the hell do I do it? lols.

Or you've been practising Ashtanga and want to deepen your understanding and connections to its roots.

Well, Jade's got you baby!

This two-part workshop unpacks the energetics, philosophy, asana (physical) and pranayama (breathwork) foundations of the Ashtanga half Primary Series.

Ashtanga is a dynamic practice that synchronizes breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify your body. Each Ashtanga class follows the same sequence. The repetitious nature of the practice allows you to refine the sequence so that you can sink into a deeper meditative state, build core strength and purify your body.

This workshop will be split into two parts and held on two consecutive Sundays:

Part 1 - Sunday 1st Aug

What is Ashtanga?
Jade will explore philosophy, pranayama and foundational poses to guide the Ashtanga sequence so that you may begin to feel confident in following this practice with ease.

Part 2 - Sunday 8th Aug

Put into practice what you have learned with a complete led Ashtanga half primary class.

Open to all students but some level of Ashtanga practice is preferred.
*Sorry no part enrolments
