A 5 WEEK RUNNING JOURNEY WITH NEIL IRVINE.

Breathwork on the run combines mindful running, with the transformative power of Soma Breathwork. This unique run club is designed to help you improve your endurance, repattern the way you breathe whilst moving, and help you recover faster.
Whether you’re new to running, or looking to elevate your recovery and speed, you’ll learn how to breathe intentionally during your runs to increase energy, focus, and recovery.
What to Expect:
* Duration: 5 Weeks
* Start Date: Wednesday 19th Jan
* Meeting Time: 6am -7am.
* Location: South Maroubra surf club car park. (Details of exactly where will be sent out)
* Distance Progression: Each week, we will increase the running distance by 1 km, starting from 2km and working our way up to 5 km. You'll build stamina and confidence, one step at a time.
This is not about distance, this is about our ability to maintain the breath throughout.
Each Week Includes:
A guided Run:
We'll kick things off with a run around the rifle range at south Maroubra. Where Neil will both teach you on the breathing technique to incorporate into your running, and coach you as you do it. We’ll gradually increase our distances each week, starting at 2 km and ending at 5 km.
Soma Breathwork Session:
After each run, Neil guides you through a calming and energizing Soma Breathwork session to help you recover, reduce stress, and deepen your connection to your breath. Learn how to use your breath to enhance performance and improve recovery.
Community + accountability:
After the run and Breathwork, we’ll gather to reflect, connect, and celebrate our progress. With Neil offering coaching and support with whatever comes up.

About Neil.
8 years ago, Neil went from being an endurance athlete, to waking up one morning completely paralysed and partially blind, after developing something called GBS. With death + life as a vegetable staring him in the face, Neil found an unshakable commitment to get his life back. Starting by lengthening his breath from just one count to two. To secretly squatting by his hospital bed at midnight, when he still had only 20% vision. To walking out of hospital just 21 days after being admitted. Neil has used Breathwork + an unstoppable mindset to do what Dr’s told him he never would… get back to full health and run ultra marathons.
Neil is passionate about sharing his story, his mindset tools, and the same breathwork techniques, to show everyone they are capable of anything they set their mind too.
His gentle, unassuming approach is humbling, inspiring, and really calls you forward out of your own bullsh*t stories/
Being coached + taught by Neil will change the way you see yourself and your capacity not just whilst running, but whilst moving through life.
